Terms of Service — CounterKit
The small print

Terms of Service.

We have written these to be read, in the same plain English as everything else we make. They cover buying from mycounterkit.com.

Last updated June 2026

01Who we are

CounterKit is a trading name of Bower and Bloom Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16198301. Our registered office is [registered office address]. You can reach us any time at hello@mycounterkit.com.

When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Bower and Bloom Ltd. When we say “you”, we mean the person or business buying from us.

02What these terms cover

These terms apply when you buy The Review Kit or anything else from mycounterkit.com. By placing an order, you agree to them.

We offer the rights in these terms to every customer, whether you buy as a consumer or for your business. Nothing in these terms reduces any rights you have by law.

03The product

The Review Kit is a physical kit of eleven cards, with access to a free online hub of walkthroughs and examples. The hub is provided free of charge and we work to keep it current as third-party apps change their screens, though we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption.

The kit gives you a method for asking your customers for Google reviews. Results depend on your business and on how you use it, so apart from the Twelve-Week Promise in section 7, we do not guarantee any particular outcome.

CounterKit is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Google or WhatsApp, and their products and policies can change at any time.

04Orders and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you order. Your order is accepted when we dispatch it, and we confirm dispatch by email.

If we cannot fulfil an order for any reason, we will tell you and refund you in full straight away.

05Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses, and delivery is free. We aim to dispatch within [X] working days of your order. Timings, tracking and what to do if a kit goes missing are on our Delivery and Returns page.

06Cancellations, returns and refunds

You can cancel an order at any time before dispatch for an immediate full refund. After delivery, three protections apply:

  • Changed your mind. You have 14 days from the day you receive the kit to tell us you want to return it, for any reason. You then have 14 days to post it back, at your own cost. We refund within 14 days of receiving it. If the kit has been used beyond simply looking it over, for example if cards have been written on, we may reduce the refund to reflect that.
  • Damaged or faulty. You have 30 days from delivery to report a damaged or faulty kit for a full refund or a replacement, your choice. A photo by email is usually all we need.
  • The Twelve-Week Promise. Described in section 7.

To cancel or return, email hello@mycounterkit.com with your order details and a clear statement that you want to cancel. Refunds go back to your original payment method. Full practical details are on the Delivery and Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

07The Twelve-Week Promise

Run the kit as designed for twelve weeks. If your Google review count has not grown, we refund you in full, and you keep the kit.

To claim under the Promise:

  • Record your starting star rating and review count on Card 01 when you begin.
  • Run the weekly routine and tick your tracker on Card 09 each week, for twelve weeks.
  • If your Google review count after twelve completed weeks is not higher than the starting number on your Card 01, email photos of your completed Card 01 and Card 09 to hello@mycounterkit.com within sixteen weeks of delivery.

We will refund the full purchase price to your original payment method, and the kit is yours to keep. The Promise applies to kits bought directly from mycounterkit.com, is limited to one claim per business, and sits alongside your legal rights rather than replacing them.

08Using the kit responsibly

The kit is built to keep you on the right side of Google’s review policies and UK rules on messaging customers, and that is on purpose. You are responsible for how you use it in your own business, including the consent settings in your own booking and messaging tools. The kit is practical guidance, and it is not legal advice.

09Our content

The cards, the hub and everything on this site belong to Bower and Bloom Ltd. You are welcome to use them in your own business. Please do not copy, share, resell or reproduce them.

10Our responsibility to you

If we get something wrong, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the kit. We do not exclude or limit anything the law does not allow us to, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

11General

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published when you order is the one that applies to your purchase. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your data.
